Description
Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 5K race. The system uses a computer tag which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.
