Coach Matt Forsman is Athlete of the Week For_Immediate_Release United States of America (News Release) July 21, 2009- Richmond, VA based VABION LLC, (VABION) VABION LLC (VABION) announced today that ThinkFastMoveFaster.com, the company's Web 2.0 community for athletes, is honoring distance and marathon runner Matt Forsman as its Featured Athlete of the Week. Forsman has been a dedicated runner for nearly 20 years. His passion led him to become a full time running coach in San Francisco and to obtain RRCA and USATF coaching certifications. Forsman admits that he discovered running when he was 15 years old and fell in love with the sport after experiencing the elevated endorphins called "runner's high." This feeling of natural excitement and energy reinforced his belief that "running is an activity that always pays dividends. If you do the work and you're consistent and committed, good things will happen." Dr. Susan Hardwicke, chief executive of VABION, said, "Matt Forsman makes running and the running lifestyle look easy. He deserves to be honored for his self-discipline, and for helping others to achieve their goals." VABION's community website for amateur athletes of all sports, www.ThinkFastMoveFaster.com, selects featured athletes based on their commitment to fitness, their sport, and positive character qualities. Forsman's commitment to these values is clear through his many fitness accomplishments and coaching practices. Throughout his career, Forsmans dedication and focus allowed him to return from significant injuries to come back and post a remarkable time of 2 hours and 43 minutes at the Boston Marathon in 2008. He hopes to pass on both the training tips learned from his coach, Olympic Development instructor Tom Dowling, and his absolute love for running to his hundreds of followers and clients in the San Francisco area.
