Saturday, I truly felt like a runner for the first time ever. I leveled up on the C25k program and managed to increase my walking and running pace to 3.5/4.2 on the treadmill (respectively). It felt amazing.
I had my iPod on and really got into a zone, almost a trance. There were times that my watch would signal a switch into the walking interval and I didn't want to stop running.
Is that what it feels like when you are running longer distances??
Wisely, I opted to stick to the planned intervals, but to me that signals that I have gotten so much stronger in the past eight months or so...what a wonderful feeling!!
