UGH...isn't it frustrating to get rolling on something only to be stopped in your tracks!!
That just happened to me. I got going on the C25k, completed four great sessions....then got stopped due to family obligations and getting sick. YUCK!!!
However, the 'Spaz perseveres and is back to it.
I found the awesome iPhone app for C25k and purchased it ($2.99 from iTunes). This thing really rocks!!
1. Easy to read timer shows where you are in the workout.
2. The total workout time includes the warm up and cool down session.
3. Slide rule on the startup page allows you to read what each day's workout will be so you can still stay on track even when you don't have the phone with you. BONUS - you can mark the sessions complete at a later time!
4. For those who only have the Shuffle (iPod), you can upload your favorite songs for each workout which means no more shuffling through to find that perfect song while running.
5. A bell and voice tells you when to start each interval, and when you are halfway through the workout...as well as when to warm up/cool down. OPTIONAL: You can have it tell you when each 5 min. increment passes.
6. At the completion of the workout, it will post you success on Twitter and/or Facebook for you!
OK...did I mention that this app truly rocks!! REALLY - check it out http://c25kapp.com or on Twitter @C25kapp.
I also discovered that the developer is working on a similar app for longer distances!
SO - Week 1, Day 1 is finished! I'm back with a vengeance!!
